ELSENBURG AGRIFESTIVAL 4-6 DECEMBER 2008
From 4-6 December 2008 an Agri Festival will be held at Elsenburg Research Farm to celebrate the farm's 310th, and the Cape Institute of Agricultural Training: Elsenburg's (Elsenburg Agricultural College) 110th birthday.

- AgriKidz programme
Animal games, reptiles, mini petting farm, puppet show, dog show, jumping castles, cookie decoration, colour in competitions, etc - Educational programme
Feature careers in agriculture, techno games, shearing and weaving demonstrations, fish and ostrich exhibits, predators & parasites, etc. More information here. - Farmer's market, Homemade and Crafter's Market
Jams, preserves, vegetables, fruit, olives, dried fruit, flowers, cheese, fish, indigenous teas, honey, ostrich leather products, harness and farrier demonstrations, etc - Live Museum (in partnership with Kleinplasie in Worcester)
Butter churning, dying, spinning and weaving of wool, processing of tobacco, candle making, etc - Creative Cooking demonstrations
Cooking with agricultural products & tastings – yummy! - Wine tasting, from some Elsenburg alumni as well!
Tasting and promotion of wine - Food and drink stalls
An array of food and drinks will be on sale at the festival
